As a minor, Jill Gutowitz was obsessed with Lindsay Lohan.

Now 30, Gutowitz said she now realizes she wasn't just a fan of Lindsay Lohan. She wanted to peck her.
In the book, Gutowitz shares her musings on the intersection of pop culture and sexuality, weaving in her personal coming-of-age tales. She references Britney Spears, Cara Delevigne, Julianne Moore, and other celebrities whose mainstream presence influenced her sexuality.
Today, Gutowitz identifies as a lesbian. She told Insider, looking advocate , her childhood obsession with Lindsay Lohan, plus watching "Orange Is the Fresh Black" in her promptly twenties, helped her appear to terms with her attraction to women.
I think all the negative reviews about Lindsay Lohan’s act in Liz & Dick are unwarranted. She’s a superb actress! She was raw and fully alive in her performance. The film’s clichéd writing was what made Lifetime’s bio-pic about Hollywood star-crossed lovers Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor a mediocre portrayal of one of the most iconic love stories of the 20th century.
I don’t think people are able to separate Lindsay’s personal existence from her acting. She’s being unfairly picked apart because critics aren’t looking at her serve objectively. I start her entertaining and emotional. I reflection Lindsay was believable as Elizabeth, and her version of the screen legend was worth the hour and a half of my day. There isn’t a boring frame in the movie filled with antique Hollywood allurement. Liz & Dick did feel like a guilty pleasure and is worth the indulgence.
