Gay link comics

If you&#;re reading this, you&#;re probably some kind of nerd or geek or both. And if you&#;re a nerd or geek or both, you probably have at least some passing knowledge of The Legend of Zelda. It&#;s one of the most popular, successful and celebrated video game franchises ever. Personally, I&#;ve only played Link&#;s Awakening on the Gameboy, but I still admire the atmosphere around the game. I love a lot of the characters, the design and the lore and legends of Hyrule. If you&#;re already a fan, someone with a light love for the games, or someone who&#;s never even mind about Link, Zelda and the rest, The Legend of Gay Zelda will capture your attention and drag on your heart with its adorably nerdy stories of queer love between video game characters. The Legend of Gay Zelda is now available for download, it&#;s pay what you want and all proceeds go to the Trevor Project.

Resource: Queer Comics

Last week, I gave a talk on s lesbian comics to a packed room of art students at Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, FL. Following the talk, their questions quickly followed a theme&#;they wanted to perceive where could they detect these comics and where they could read homosexual comics today. They&#;re blessed in that Janelle Rebel, the head of distinct collections at Ringling (who invited me to grant the talk), has spent the past 7+ years gathering together a super impressive array of contemporary LGBTQ visual artifacts, including artists books, zines, and comics at Ringling!

Expanding on the answers I gave to the students&#; questions, I figured a announce would be helpful. This guide is not meant to be exhaustive, but, rather, a starting show. If there are resources that you think would be worthwhile including, execute share them and I&#;ll credit you if I add them!

Gay Comics, is a genre of media that features homoerotic and romantic relationships between male characters.

Much like gay anime usually, it looks like a series of picture panels. Dialogue, narration, sound effects, and other information can be indicated through text-based tools such as speech balloons, subtitles, and onomatopoeia.

Which story might it be? Regardless of whether it is a love story or a friendship, we will undoubtedly enjoy it as long as it is gay.

Other than a standard comic, certain writers &#;clearly those who are part of the LGBTQ+ family&#; broadened their imagination, resulting in the creation of the FURRY COMIC, GAY COMIC, and many more, and this results in another entertaining experience and story to which gays can undoubtedly connect!

Here is a list of the Optimal Gay Comics that have something for everyone, from coming-out tales to devote triangles and more.

    LGBTQ+ perspective on BL/GL (+lgbt comic promos)

Not gonna lie down, most of the only instances of good LGBT representation I've seen where from people who were actually in the LGBT+ community themselves (She-Ra, Steven World, Twelve Forever and no I'm not referring to Vickerman, I'm referring to the other showrunner/writer who's trans, etc.). With a few exceptions from like, actual straight people making good rep (Rick Riordan's books recently, fancy for fuck's sake, there's a genderfluid person in Magnus Hunt, how rare is that?), appreciate hello, I treasure that cuz it's rare. All other instances of attempted good LGBT inclusion were from cishet people, many of whom reek of the mindset of "hey if we add gay people, people will stop bugging me about representation!" (fuck you, Voltron and A court of mist and fury. I hate you both with every fiber of my organism. Also Disney)

I don't quite grasp the hate towards BL/GL and Yaoi/Yuri as of late. I kind of get for earlier BLs/GLs and Yaoi and Yuri (like, early s yaoi and yuri anime were pretty fetishistic and very problematic)
